Climate

Harvey is located in the Southern Uplands Ecoregion of New Brunswick, the climate is considered continental with warm summers and cold winters. Due to its proximity to the Bay of Fundy (60 km) the climate is more moderate than locations further inland. The difference between the average warmest and coldest month is 27 degrees Celsius, compared to over 30 degrees in the Northwestern part of the province. Snowfall amounts are significantly smaller at 250 cm compared to 360 cm in the Northwest.
