Harvey Area and the Environment

Harvey is surrounded by natures treasures. Lakes, streams and bogs are home to many different aquatic species of flora and fauna and birds and local wildlife. The following maps provide the layout of the land around Harvey from different views. You can see which areas are covered by water and by trees, and which areas have been farmed, settled and travelled on. In particular, the Environmentally Significant Areas section specifies certain areas which have been deemed to be significant and worth protecting by Ducks Unlimited, Nature Trust of New Brunswick and local residents.
