Take notice that the Council of the Village of Harvey, in compliance with Section 111 of the Community Planning Act of the Province of New Brunswick, intends to hold a public hearing of objections meeting on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Harvey Memorial Community Centre lobby, 58 Hanselpacker Road, to hear objections and/or comments pursuant to the proposed By-law 2020-2, being the Village of Harvey Rural Plan.

This proposed Rural Plan By-law updates the current Rural Plan By-law 2019-5 by introducing allowances and regulations for livestock on lots large enough to adequately protect neighbours from impact.  The by-law also permits multi-unit dwellings with more than four (4) units subject to terms and conditions in residential zones.  As well, several properties have been rezoned to make zoning consistent with the current land-use.

Anyone wishing to offer opinion on this proposed By-law amendment may do so in person at the hearing of objections meeting or in writing by dropping off your letter during regular business hours to the Village Clerk in the Village Office, 58 Hanselpacker Rd.  before Noon on November 23rd, 2020.  A letter may also be sent by email to the Village Clerk at village.harvey@rogers.com. A copy of the proposed By-law may also be inspected at the Village Office where business hours are from 8:30 – 12:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
