Harvey Rural Community

Take notice that the Council of the Village of Harvey, in compliance with Section 111 of the Community Planning Act of the Province of New Brunswick, intends to hold a public hearing of objections on Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Harvey Memorial Community Centre, 58 Hanselpacker Road, to hear objections and/or comments pursuant to the proposed Rural Plan By-law 2019-03.        

The Village is seeking to repeal its current Basic Planning Statement By-law and Zoning By-law and replace both with Rural Plan By-law 2019-03 under the authority of the new Community Planning Act and to consolidate into one document all previous amendments made under to it.  The only qualitative change is allowing a dwelling of up to four units as an allowed use in the Residential Zone. 

Anyone wishing to offer opinion on this proposed By-law may do so in person at the hearing of objections meeting or in writing by dropping off your letter during regular business hours in the Village Office, 58 Hanselpacker Rd.  before Noon on Thursday, May 30th, 2019.  A letter may also be sent by email at village.harvey@rogers.com. A copy of the proposed By-law may be inspected at the Village Office where business hours are from 8:30 – 12:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
