Sewer Bills

Budget Meeting

The Village Council will be meeting tonight at 6:30pm at the Village Office to discuss the 2022 General Operating Budget and the 2022 Sewerage Budget.

The public are invited to attend.  Masks and proof of full vaccination are required.

Pop-Up Play Group

The Fredericton Family Resource Centre will be at the Harvey Community Library on the 10th and 24th of November at 10AM for a free Pop-Up Play Group for children ages 0-6. To register, email admin@frederictonfrc.ca

Dog Licenses

It is the law to register your dog in the Province of NB.  If you live in the Village limits, you can register your dog at the Village Office.  The Dog License Application Form can be downloaded at the link below.

Reminder of Notice of Public Hearing

Take notice that the Council of the Village of Harvey, in compliance with Section 111 of the Community Planning Act of the Province of New Brunswick, intends to hold a public hearing of objections on July 7th, 2021 at 7 p.m.

Lakeshore Cleanup

The Annual Lakeshore Clean-up was held on Saturday, June 5th with a good turnout.  Thanks to our newest Councillor, our outgoing Councillor, a couple of students, some members of the Fredericton Anglers and several other volunteers.  This was an official Participaction Event in the Community Challenge and a Cleanup for Pitch In Canada (https://pitch-in.ca/)

New Council Sworn In

The new Council was sworn into office on Thursday night.  Outgoing Councillor, Brad Howse, was thanked for all his efforts over the past five years with a picture of a steam train in Harvey.

Council for the Village of Harvey is: Mayor Winston Gamblin, Deputy Mayor Richard Corey, Councillor Dave MacMullin, and new Councillor Adrian Davis.

2021 Census of Population

The 2021 Census of Population day was May 11 but the online portal is still open and they are still accepting questionnaires online and on paper. The census enumerates the entire Canadian population and over 15 million households are expected to complete the census this year. Please complete your questionnaire, if you haven’t already.

Special Meeting of Council

There will be a special meeting of Council tonight at 7pm in the lobby of the HMCC.

Request for Proposal -

The Village of Harvey needs an experienced woods person to cut down standing trees and clear fallen trees around the Catharine Pendrel Trail and bring them out to the trail or driveway.The woods person needs to supply their own equipment such as chainsaws as well as any vehicle to haul the wood to the trail location.
