Please be advised that the Municipal office is closed until further notice in response to COVID-19.
All Municipal services will still be available.
During this time, we ask that all payments or correspondence be sent via email, mail or dropped off at Smiths Store.
The Clerk can be reached during regular operating hours at 366-6240.

The next municipal elections will be held on May 11th. Would you like to have a say in what happens in your Village? Why not run for Municipal Office? The pay isn't huge but the rewards can be enormous!

Edward Christie awarded the New Brunswick Instructor of the Year by IHEA-Canada
The International Hunter Education Association-Canada (IHEA-Canada), New Brunswick Instructor of the Year was awarded on Nov 13 to Edward Christie from Harvey who has been teaching Firearms Safety / Hunter Education courses as a volunteer instructor and participating in mentoring programs for young shooters and hunters for 46 years.

In compliance with the Community Planning Act of New Brunswick (C-19), By-law 2019-5, A By-law to Adopt the Village of Harvey Rural Plan, had its third and final reading at the September 11, 2019 Council Meeting, was approved by the Minister of the Department of Environment and Local Government on October 11, 2019 and then Registered at the Charlotte County Registry Office of Service New Brunswick on October 16, 2019 as document #39527628.
New Benches built by NBCC Carpentry Students
The Village took delivery of two very sturdy benches built by the carpentry students at NBCC Woodstock. The project was arranged by instructor, Garth Cleghorn and all materials were purchased locally at Watson's Home Building Centre. They are currently outside the Village Office if you want to try them out!
