Recreation Survey

The Southwest NB Regional Service Commission is creating a recreational masterplan that is looking at the big picture of our region’s municipal recreation infrastructure.  They have prepared a survey that they would like residents to fill in to provide information towards this plan.

New Speed Sign in Harvey

This is a notice to the public that the village has recently installed a new speed sign in the village. The sign reads, records, and displays your speed as you enter the village. The sign’s recordings are made into reports and looked over by village council and RCMP. The goal of this installation is to reduce the number of vehicles speeding through the village. We hope this helps our drivers to respect the speed limit.

Residents of the Village of Harvey Station are hereby advised that Council will hold a public hearing to garner input on a proposal to change the zoning of 1974 Route 3 (PID 01515717) from Residential Zoning to Residential/Commercial Zoning.   The purpose of the Zoning change request is to open an automotive repair shop in the existing garage.

Sewer Line Cleaning

Please be advised that The Village of Harvey will be utilizing a vacuum truck tomorrow, August 3rd, 2017 to clean out selected sewer pipes on the line.  The line location will be from approximately 1947 Route 3 to 1967 Route 3 and on Poplar Lane. 

The reason for the notice is that you may experience a suction effect in your toilets when the vacuum work starts and a blow back when the vacuum is stopped.
